Karail is one of the largest slum in Dhaka surrounded by baridhara diplomatic area,Mohakhali commercial area and Banani,glushan posh area.Jaago foundation is a charitable organization who are providing english medium education to the street & slum children without any fees.
project:
*classroom and office area: 400sqft (2-storied in future extension which will need 34pcs 4'x7' new panel & 14pcs 8' column only)
*Installing drainage system of 70' with 2'dia pre-cast cc ring
*800 sqft landscaping including landfill,plantation
*36 sqft (2 toilet and 1 shower area for community)including 1 water tank.
*full project built by 4 ricksha pular & 4 Mud worker from that particular slum community.
*project has been designed in a way so that they can easily shift its 80% element any time.
*total cost of the project is 6000USD
